Twenty-four hours after confirming a January release in North America, Koei has today revealed a European launch of Dynasty Warriors 6 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 7th 2008.

The makers of the Call of Duty series decided to focus on modern conflicts rather than WWII. “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare” centers around a fictional plot set in modern times. Your aim is to prevent terrorists from acquiring a nuclear weapon thus bring death and chaos to the world. Although it comes as little relief to us considering the long wait for Rock Band’s European release in 2008, Harmonix and MTV Games today announced significant weekly downloadable content that will support the game until the end of the year.

Epic has revealed that they are using IDV’s SpeedTree technology in their upcoming shooter Unreal Tournament III for PlayStation 3 and PC (as well as Xbox 360 next year). The technology is used industry wide to generate realistic trees in gaming environments and Epic is using it in conjunction with their Unreal Engine 3. But wait! SEGA has revealed further details about Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games on the DS, as the Wii release date of November 23rd looms. The DS version, however, is not due until early next year although SEGA has packed the game with exclusive events to appease their handheld fans.

Just days after rumours emerged that a high-profile, first-party title from Microsoft Game Studios was under threat from the imminent, it seems that the identity of the game has emerged courtesy of US-based 1UP - Marvel Universe Online.
